Obituary for George Sapulich

George  Sapulich
George Sapulich, 86, World War II US Army Veteran, beloved husband of 58 years to Barbara, nee Barczak. Loving father of Mary Anne Sapulich and Joseph (Cathy) Sapulich. Cherished grandfather of Joshua and Sara. Dear brother of the late John, Mary, Anna Ignatowski, Sue Herko, and Michael. George’s talents included gardening, carpentry and music. He had a solo spot with the Harmonicats on live radio in the 50’s playing ‘Beautiful Dreamer’. His fluency with languages included German, Russian, and Polish. George worked in the Pennsylvania coal mines, was a gas station owner, and maintenance mechanic. Visitation Wednesday, December 4, 2013, from 3-9 PM. Funeral Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 8:45 AM from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to Queen of Martyrs Church, 10233 S.
