Eleanore C. De Jong, nee Roeters, age 96, beloved wife of the late Theodore “Ted” De Jong (2012). Loving mother of Phillip (Ruth) De Jong and the late Ralph De Jong and the late Jane (George) Zoeterman. Cherished grandmother of Rebekah, Timothy and Christopher Zoeterman; Phillip (Ashley), Joshua (Casandra) and Peter (Lisa) De Jong. Dearest great-grandmother of Isabella, Bryce, Peter, James and Eleanor. Fond sister of Theresa Hoekstra, Marilyn Ronda and preceded in death by John Roeters, Ann Roeters, Harriet Linhart and Henry Roeters. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, October 30, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, IL.
