Family parties are not going to be the same without you Uncle Mike. Looking at all the pictures tonight you sure were a character and you loved your fishing. You were a great guy who was always willing to go the extra mile to help someone out. I find comfort knowing you went peacefully and didn't suffer. I know I can't physically see you but I know your always looking over everyone. Kick back... have a few cold ones and get into some trouble up there with Uncle Ed, Uncle Al and Grandpa. I love you and will always cherish the memories and laughs I had with you. Until I see you again..

Uncle Mike was the type of person that would light up a room with laughter. He kept everyone in good spirits, and I can't count the amount of times he came to lend a hand when my family needed it the most. He was the kind of person that would go out of his way for others just for the sake of helping. He was one of a kind, and he will be sorely missed.

We always enjoyed seeing Mike and visiting a few minutes when we were in Illinois and he would bring Tim home after a weekend they had together. He was a warm and friendly man.

I started working with Mike a little more than four years ago. I was a new comer to the department and knew ever little about manufacturing processes. Mike was not only my employee when I started but my educator as well and a friend. Very talented technician who had a way of making others laugh or smile with his quick wit and humor. Something I am truly going to miss. I am sure he will bring a laugh and smile to those he meets in Heaven.

Mike Kello was one of the kindest, most generous men I've ever known. I first met Mike when I moved up here from Florida. He was the first friend of my (now) husband I ever met. He was the type of person to LITERALLY give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I can't even count the number of times he gave me a shirt or sweatshirt he had in the car because I was cold. Always seemed to have a small cooler with cold water or tea whenever needed! He was the type of person to do ANYTHING for a friend. He even became an ordained minister (online) so he could perform the wedding ceremony for my brother and his wife! I remember one of the first times Mike and his son Tim came to my in-law's Lake House with us one summer. Both of them noticed a couple that got thrown from the jet ski they were ridding and went out to help them. Total strangers but Mike and Tim saw someone in need and jumped in to help! Mike has been there as a friend to both my husband and myself. There to talk to about anything, there for a big hug anytime it was needed. My favorite nights were those spent with Mike and Tina out to dinner. Boneless buffalo wings and beer! Mike hated watching Medical shows on TV but any time Tina and I wanted to watch it he would stay with us on the couch! He was an amazing travel partner too. When we went to Florida last fall with Mike and Tina they both helped out so much with my young son Chase. Always there to hold him when he was getting fussy and keep him entertained when I needed a break for a few minutes! I'm so sad that my son won't get to grow up with "Uncle Mike". Mike was always up for a game of BeanBags. At the house, the lake, block party, bar. Didn't matter where. Mike will always be the "Bean Bag Champion" in my book. I miss him more than words can say. He may be gone from our lives but he will never be gone from our hearts.

Sometimes it's hard to put into words what someone means to you. Mike Kello wasn't just my friend or my best friend, he was the big brother I never had. I thank God for blessing me with a friendship that would last over 45 years. And just like when anyone close passes you wish you could have just one more time, one more conversation, one more hug, one more laugh together. I will always cherish the time we had on this earth and look forward to the day we meet again in paradise. But until then rest easy my brother. I love you 😘

My Uncle Mike was a great man. I have a lot of great memories of him. He was the type of person that could always make you laugh, rather you were happy, sad, down in the dumps...it didn't matter! He could always put a smile on your face. He was the type of person that was always there for you when you needed him. You could always talk to him about anything. Didn't matter what it was, he would listen and try to help anyway he could. He will truly be missed. He will forever be in my heart and the hearts of all his family and friends. We will miss you dearly. We love you Uncle Mike.
