Dean F. Truemper, Jr.

September 4, 1970 — October 31, 2026

Dean F. Truemper Jr., age 56, beloved husband of 21 years to Alicia. Loving father of Tyler (Angelika). Cherished grandfather of Alexander. Devoted son of Terry and the late Dean Truemper Sr. Dear brother of Timothy and the late Christopher. Uncle to Kristen (Cody), Klarrisa (Zack), and Brittany. Cherished son-in-law of Herb and Jan. Fond brother-in-law to Kim, Dan, Theresa, Leo, Laura (Jesse), and Connie. Cherished uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Born on September 4, 1970 in Aurora, Illinois. Mother was a nurse and father was an accountant. He was the middle child of 3 boys. Dean and his brothers would find anything and everything to get their hands dirty. Dean recalled numerous days of getting shot by his brothers BB guns, going fishing with family, and having friends over to hang out in the backyard to play volleyball. Dean was into weight training and muscle cars in high school and would spend hours working on his Blue Trans Am. He would drive around with his music blasting and singing.

Right out of high school Dean attended Waubonsee Community College and earned his Associates degree in Business Administration and Management. He also attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale to earn his Bachelor of Science, Finance and Marketing double major. He paid for his college tuition on his own. From there he worked for a few companies in which he made a name for himself as the hardest working and most supportive recruiter. He would do what he could to help anyone find a job. He’d make sure the candidate felt good working with him and had his trust. He loved his job and he made each and every person along his career feel like a best friend or family.

Dean was a selfless man and loved life. He was always positive and didn’t take life serious. He prided himself on going to the gym and keeping himself fit. His weekends always included a day of golf with his son and grandson, brother Tim, close friends Stoney and Joel, and others. He did not care how cold, as long as it was still open, he would layer up to play a round of 9 holes. He loved to golf as often as he could.

He also enjoyed many fun evenings out to dinner with family and friends at various restaurants. Took many vacations and attended many concerts with his wife Alicia. But most of all Dean treasured his time spent with his wife and son (Angelika) and grandson Alexander. Whether it was a vacation together in Florida, golfing, a holiday get together, watching football, sport event for Alexander, or just having dinner together, he lived for those moments. He valued all of his family and friends.

May his legacy of love, kindness, and strength live inside of each of us for the years to come.

A “Celebration of Dean’s Life” service will be at a later time and date. That information will only be given by the family and closest friends.
