June C. Cavanaugh

February 14, 1941 — October 30, 2026

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and Friend.

June C. Cavanaugh, née Clousing, age 85, the beloved wife of 48 years to the late Ronald N. Cavanaugh, who preceded her in death in 2009. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and love. June was a loving mother to Kirk (Jean) Cavanaugh, Rhonda (Robert) Ostrom and Craig (Donna) Cavanaugh. She was a cherished grandmother to Kyle (Mackenzie) Cavanaugh, Maggie Cavanaugh, Erika (Nick) DeWolf, Luke (Claire) Ostrom, Mykenze (fiancé Joe Gigliotti) Ostrom, Connor Cavanaugh, and Thomas Cavanaugh. Her greatest joy continued with her five great-grandchildren: Kiera June, Amelia Rose, Jackson Nicholas, Eliza Ruth and Bennett Robert, who brought endless happiness to her life. She was the dear sister of Beverly (Ronald) Pruim, Bernard (Susan) Clousing, Paul (Ruth) Clousing, and Cheryl (David) Rosendale. She was also a fond sister-in-law of Larry (late Marilyn) Cavanaugh and the late Colleen (late Robert) Ryba, and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

June married her high school sweetheart, Ron, beginning a lifelong love story and a family that would become her greatest legacy. A devoted Christian, her faith was the foundation of her life. She was an active and faithful member of Calvary Church, where she joyfully sang in the choir and generously gave her time in service to others.

June worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, but her greatest work was always found in the ways she cared for others. She volunteered at Pass It On Thrift Center and was an involved and dedicated room mother in her children's school community. She never missed an opportunity to show up for the people she loved, whether that meant attending a school event, cheering someone on, lending a helping hand, or simply being there.

She enjoyed staying active, playing tennis, volleyball, and golf, and treasured time spent at the family home in Wisconsin, where countless memories were made with those she loved.

June's legacy is one of unwavering faith, unconditional love, generosity, and devotion to family. While she will be deeply missed, the lessons she taught, the memories she created, and the love she poured into generations of her family will live on forever.
