Obituary for George A. Kerbs

George A. Kerbs, age 91, USMC WWII Veteran with occupying forces in Okinawa, Japan and retired Sgt. C.P.D. after 35 years of dedicated service. Beloved husband of Romayne Kerbs, nee Reid for 63 years. Loving father of Charles (Mary) Kerbs and Romayne (late Donald) LaRock. Cherished "Grampa George" to Lauren, Leanna and Derek Kerbs, and Christopher and Claire LaRock. Devoted son of the late Ferdinand and Elsie Kerbs (nee Glaefke). Dearest brother of the late Ferdinand. He is loved and shall be missed...Semper Fi.

Visitation Tuesday, February 21, 2017 3-9 PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, February 22, 2017 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
