Michael Grahn

August 21, 1963 — October 24, 2026

“

Above all, family and friends were most important in his life, and he cherished the relationships and moments that brought them together.

Michael Grahn, age 63, cherished husband for 44 years to Virginia “Ginny”, nee Koehler. Devoted father of Ryan (Lisa) Grahn and Kirstin (Jason) Haff. Proud grandfather of Clayton and Genevieve Grahn. Loving brother of Timothy Sr. (Sandra) Grahn, Kimberly (John) Molloy, and Lisa Faulds. Beloved son of Allan L. and the late Maureen (nee Morrison) Grahn. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He loved the great outdoors and the national parks, finding joy in the beauty of nature and time spent outside. Mike dedicated over 40 years of his life to the financial industry at the Bank of America. Football and baseball were his favorite sports, and he was happiest when he could share that passion with others. He greatly enjoyed coaching football for the Oak Forest Raiders, helping young players learn the game and develop confidence both on and off the field. Above all, family and friends were most important in his life, and he cherished the relationships and moments that brought them together.
