Danny, since I was 12 years old you treated me like family. When my father passed, you were the only Papa my kids knew. I'll never forget sitting and talking about whiskey, guns and fishing when all I really wanted to do was sit in the kitchen with Harvetta and Sara and play board games. I'm glad now that I stayed for the conversation and I hold those memories close to my heart. You were so stubborn but you'd give the shirt off your back for just about anyone. You were one of a kind Danny Hayes and you will be missed dearly.

Over the years Danny had taught me a lot. From complicated car problems and tricks, to the very very simplest things in life like how great cranberry dial soap smells. There is alot he has told me and taugh me that I will remember until the day I see him again.
