Bill joined the firm of of Ruff and Grotefeld in 1963. During the ensuing years, he served as an associate, partner, managing partner and of counsel. More importantly, Bill served as a mentor, role model and teacher to each of the firm’s attorneys. His razor sharp mind and superb legal abilities won him the admiration and respect of each of the firm’s lawyers and its many clients. Diane Carugati & your Timberline Knolls Family, Bram Barb Sylvia and Hope Weidenaar, and other have sent flowers to the family of William B. "Bill" Weidenaar.
Aunt Sue & Family, Sending our condolences at the passing of Uncle Bill. Kari and I were recounting some of our favorite memories of Uncle Bill. Among the best were all the name combinations from past Weidenaar ancestors he came up with and freely passed along to a pregnant Kari and I at Nicole and Al's wedding years ago. Very funny. And delivered with a twinkle in his eye. He had a wonderful wit and an equal amount of wisdom. Know that our prayers are with you and the family.
Dear Sue and family, I was so saddened to hear about Bill's passing from my brother, Steve. What can I say about Bill that you do not already know? I remember my Dad talking about an interview they had with Bill as potentially working for R and G. He said, "We interviewed such a nice young man today. I think we are going to hire him!" From that day forth my Dad only spoke of his admiration and respect he had for this young attorney...bright, caring, faithful man.
We were all blessed by his presence, his sense of humor, love of life, family as well as his love of God.
Our shared Christian faith tells us that at death life does not end. It merely changes. The love we experience here on earth with our loved one carries continues.
Please know we will keep you in prayer as you adjust to a new reality. Your strong faith will sustain you. The same Jesus who supported you yesterday and today will continue in the days, weeks and years again. God bless all of you.
With sincere sympathy,
Mimi Ruff Nolan
With deepest sympathy to Sue, her children and spouses, and grandchildren. Condolences to our cousins Bernie and Harry John, your spouses and your families. We have fond memories of Bill, his sense of humor, his memory, and his gentle personality. Bill will greatly missed.
