Jeanette was a kind-hearted soul who always looked for the good in adults and children. She worked so hard in anything that she undertook and was an example to all of us in her dedication to her family, to her work as an educator, and to her friends, most especially Sharon Domas. I spent many delightful evenings at Country House with Jeanette planning in-service meetings for the intermediate teachers in District 130. These planning meetings took the whole evening because we needed to eat, laugh, talk about everything imaginable, and plan for the best program we could have! Jeanette's beautiful smile, her huge sense of humor, and her inclusive way of relating to others will be missed by all who knew her. I am so glad that she is no longer ill but free from the cancer and other health issues that plagued her recently. My sympathy to all members of her family to whom she was so close, so interested, and whom she loved so much. Thank you, Jeanette, for your beautiful example.
