Mark

I remember his big hands, his love of children and family. And gardening, too. He was definitely patriarchal and earthy (in a good way). Dr. Van Groningen opened my eyes to the riches of the Old Testamant like no other. I remain in his debt for that. When apprehensive about expecting our first child, he provided me with sound wisdom that I have passed forward to the next generation. It was a privilege to serve him as his teaching assistant at RTS from '77 to '80. He is with his covenant Lord now.
