There are some people that go through life not having one dad. I was lucky that in my life not only do I have the most amazing, loving, caring, generous- i could continue with a laundry list of qualities- dad but I also was lucky enough to be blessed with having a second dad. Tom Corradin has been my second dad for the past 23 years probably longer. He introduced me to my first rainbow cone. Baked me his special homemade birthday cake for my birthday ( he thought it comical that I would take the half we didn't eat home with me to eat at a later time). Made sure I knew how to open the hood of my car when I first bought my car. Ran outside terrified when he thought a pop can that Heather and I rolled off the roof was one of us (whoops). Made me do shots of limoncello at holidays. Made the BEST Sunday dinners. Let us ride the Cornwell truck lift up and down because we were pretty easily amused. Was not the happiest when he had to grill a boca burger for Heather while tailgating for the bears game but did it anyway. Tom always had a good story to tell. Nobody says okay the way TC did. Something small that'll I miss hearing the most. It's with an extreme heavy heart that we will have to say goodbye to this amazing man. Love to my second family always.
