With sympathy and support to the Kamp Family
Hank was a friend of over 30 years; we met through the Athletic Booster Club at Chicago Christian High School. I shall always remember one project with Hank, the staining of the trim and gutters on the new concession stand and weight room near the football/soccer field. As he was finishing up, Hank was running low on stain and decided to add some thinner to stretch it out to complete the job. As we were packing up there was a tremendous rain storm, followed by lightning and thunder; the stain was washed off the last gutter. There was another clap of thunder and a voice from the sky proclaimed; 'Repaint and thin no more!'
This is why Hank's work car license plate read 'Repaint.'
