Obituary for Kenneth M. Bol

Kenneth M. Bol
Kenneth M. Bol, age 85, of Plano, IL, passed away at his home, October 18, 2016. He was born December 3, 1930 in Chicago, the son of John and Angie. Kenny was a proud member of Local 705. He retired after 27 years from Avalon Petroleum where he drove a fuel truck. Upon his retirement in 1995 he spent his time doing what he loved most, driving, this time it was the lawn mower. He spent countless hours mowing at the "farm". When he wasn't mowing, he was building a model railroad in his basement. So big, in fact, he took over the basement, but that was ok because the grandkids enjoyed making the train go and hearing the trains' whistle blow. He will be missed dearly by his wife of 59 years Beverly; his son Joseph; his daughters: Brenda (Jim) Stawarz, Kimberly (Gregory) Battcher, Becky (Steve) Vermeland; his greatest treasures, his grandchildren: Duane, Gina, Cindi, Brian & David Bol; Julie (Charlie) Sullivan; Andrew Battcher; Madison and Charlie Vermeland and four great-grandchildren. His brothers Jim (Judy) and Ron (Chris). Sister-in-laws Joanne Knoebel, Norine (Paul) Dee and brother-in-law Howard (Ardith) Knoebel. Many nieces and nephews.
