Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family of Doug. I had the pleasure of working with Doug at Bell Labs for many years. Doug left his mark on many of us in ways other than work though. Doug was the driver of our Pace Van Pool from Oak Lawn to Naperville and scared the jeepers out of us passengers on a daily basis, actually making us happy to arrive at work. Seriously though, Doug was a kind and wonderful man and a great engineer and a great softball player besides. A good man all around and he will be missed.
