When I was a kid visiting my grandparents, Grandma and I would sometimes go pick up Grandma Z and go shopping. This was always lots of fun for me, because Grandma Z liked to be a little bit silly. One time, Grandma Z and I went through the mall trying EVERY perfume or cologne we came across in the department stores while Grandma did some actual shopping. When she met us at the entrance, we had so much perfume on that we stunk. Grandma's told us westunk and made us ride in the backseat with the windows down in the middle of winter, and laughed at our silliness and mischief as we told her the other things we had gotten up to at the mall. One of the reasons why I loved to spend with the two of them was the fact that Grandma truly enjoyed Grandma Z's freedom of spirit and happiness. She was the same way with her grandkids. She loved us and enjoyed our rambunctious behavior and silly antics, but expected us to respect others and their property.
