Andrew was back from college for winter break, 2004. He, Wes, and I were just sitting around, trying to think of some idea for a short, stupid movie to make. Now keep in mind, Wes was seven to eight years older than us, and had no obligation to spend his evening running around with his younger brother and friend. But when we had a vague concept of what we wanted the movie to be, Wes just ran away with it. He helped us shoot the whole thing in a matter of three or four hours in the Peaks' basement. It was ridiculous, but a lot of fun.
Andy and I could have done it ourselves, and I'm sure we would have had our share of fun in the process as well, but there was always something about Wes that just took a good mood and augmented it more than you'd ever think possible.
And also, naming the movie Humatron was Wes's idea. I still have NO idea where that word came from.
