Dan and his family lived across the street from our family on 17th Street in Lockport, IL.  Those were the days when we could all play in the street because if was a dead end street.  We did not need neighborhood watch signs because all of the neighbors watched ALL of us.  I saw Dan a few years ago at Shorewood Fest but we never got together like we promised.  My thoughts & prayers to his family.  R.I.P. Rest in Paradise, Dan.
