Your dad was such a great guy and yet even more important he was an example to all around him of what a man should be. The gospel of Jesus Christ was presented so wonderfully today by those that spoke. Your mom and dad realized the importance of service to Christ, family and others, this is the true gospel. As you said today, "how do you put into words in a few minutes what he meant to you," what his life meant to so many around him, a lifetime of memories. He always had such a positive persona, I always enjoyed talking to him. Only recently, about a year and a half ago, when your mom and dad were at our house for lunch did we hear of some of the details of your dad's service in WW2 and some of the historic events that he witnessed. I am so very thankful for his service to this country and the men that honored him today at graveside. I am thankful for his brilliant mind and his engineering contributions to NASA and the space program. There is going to be a joyous reunion one day, this is the promise of our mutual faith, the faith that our parents have so diligently etched in our hearts.
