Condolence: It was always great to see Dan over at the house when we were growing up at Knox Place in Joliet. Dan always like talking to my Dad, James Slattery, about all manner of things, and he liked to watch my dad fix cars on the weekends. Terrific guy.

Condolence: I want to express to Tina and Dan's family my sorrow for thier loss. Dan did more than anyone else to bring fun and excitement and a glimmer of things past for many of us by all the work he did to see that the senior leagues continued and flourished. Thanks, Dan and rest peacefully.

Condolence: I never met Dan but I will always be grateful for his creation of the Senior Softball Leagues that so many enjoy.

Condolence: I'll always remember Dan as was of the most sincere and appreciative people one could hope to have as a friend. He had a special way of bringing out the positive in those whom had the joy of knowing him.
I've kept some of my favourite emails and messages that Dan sent to me over the years... Just little things that struck me in some little way.

Condolence: Though I only met Dan a few times through the 65+ Senior Softball League, I know he was a key figure in the formation and organization of the league -- from scheduling games to maintaining the web site with photos, standings, game results, etc. His hard work and dedicaiton behind the scenes helped many of us enjoy the competiion and camaraderie between the lines. He will be missed by many. My condolences to the family.

Condolence: My condolences to the family of Dan Sipes. I have played senior softball for 8 years and know Dan did a lot of work for the league, so he will be sorely missed. I am sure he will be up in the softball league in heaven, and scheduling a few games up there with some of his buddies. God bless you, Dan and your family.

Condolence: I've worked with Dan for many years, and it just won't be the same without one of us speaking to him everyday. Dan was a true member of the Login Canada family and often spoke such kind words about how much that meant to him. Even though he was quite a distance away, we all thought of him as family and will continue to do so. Rest in Peace Dan. We will miss you.
