William Vegter, age 83, USMC WWII Vet., beloved husband of Catherine nee Jager. Loving father of Carol (Ed) Poynter, Robert (Jane), David (Linda), and the late Ronald Lee Vegter. Dear grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 9. Fond brother of Theresa (Wesley) Los, John (Joyce), Frank (Donna), Florence (John) Girhartz, Ronald (Darlene), and the late Peter (Theresa), Henry (Viola), and Harry (Theresa). Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday 3-9PM. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park.
