William Strong

William H. "Bill" Strong, 93, faithful husband of Jean (Van Vossen) and loving father of Jack (Amy). Brother to Cathy Wegg and Alice (late Bill) Streckert. Fond uncle of many Van Vossen and Strong nephews and nieces. Friend to whomever he talked to.

Bill and Jean enjoyed almost 66 years of marriage and over 30 years of retirement adventures traveling and spending time with family. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and worked his entire career for General Electric. He greatly enjoyed fellowship with others and truly loved his family, his country, and his Lord.

Visitation Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00pm at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Private interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
