William C. Stack

William C. "Bill" Stack, age 78, US Air Force Vietnam Era Veteran, beloved husband of the late Cindy, nee Nowaczyk. Loving father of Scott Stack. Dearest brother of Kari (Clint) Nagle, Richard Covelli, Vicki Covelli, the late Wayne Covelli, and the late Wally Covelli. Dear brother-in-law of Mary (late Robert) Stanek. Loving uncle, friend and neighbor to many.

Bill was a devoted cat lover who cherished his feline friends and always took care of the stray cats in his neighborhood. An avid Yankees fan, he enjoyed watching games and sharing his passion for baseball. Bill also had a fondness for movies, often spending his leisure time immersed in his favorite films. He dedicated many years working for the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Visitation Friday, June 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
