William Buckley

William R. "Bill" Buckley, age 88, United States Marine Corp Korean War Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient. Retired Lt. Oak Lawn Fire Department. Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on April 14, 2021. Beloved husband of Beverly Buckley and the late Virginia Buckley. Loving father of William Jr. (Carol) and Elizabeth (William) Theisen. Cherished grandfather of Lillian Buckley, Justin Theisen, Kristin (Eric) Kadolph and Michelle Theisen. Preceded in death by his siblings, Lorraine Cunningham and Robert Buckley.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Burial private at Fairmount - Willow Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL.
