Wendy Palomo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend - Wendy L. Palomo, age 67, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024, in the city of Frankfort, IL. She was born on June 21, 1956, in Chicago, IL to Theresa and Melvin Clark.

Wendy was the loving mother of Teresa (Timothy) Kozlowski, Wendy (Bradley) Maveety, Erica (Michael) Klix and John Palomo. Cherished grandmother of Brady, Brooklyn and Austin Kozlowski; Sawyer, Griffin, Bryn and Emmett Maveety; Zoe and Hailey Klix; and Ella Palomo. Dear sister of Deborah (Richard) McNeill, Kimberly (Patrick) Peglow, Sharon (Victor) Portillo, Melody (Randy) McLaren, Nancy (Verne) Montelpasse and Melvin (Pamela) Clark. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Life partner of the late William Lacy.

Wendy graduated from Hubbard High School in 1974. She married and raised her family in Tinley Park, IL. She worked in the insurance industry much of her career which eventually led her to Georgetown, TX as a Catastrophic Claims Adjuster. She spent a lot of her time working and visiting with family. Wendy enjoyed doing research on Holistic Health and building her relationship with God.

Visitation Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
