Wayne J. Lucas, age 80, beloved husband for 59 years to Patricia Lucas, nee Kornacki. Loving father of Kimberly Floyd. Cherished grandfather of Lauren and Marcus Bruner. Devoted son of the late Joseph and Ann Lucas. Loving brother of Lynn (Gary) Hildebrandt and the late Joann (late Harry) Iwaniec. Dear brother-in-law of Sandee (Dan) Brainer and the late Gene (late Virginia) Kornacki, Lorraine (late Michael) Collins and Robert (Kay) Kornacki. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Retired Psychiatric Technician at Christ Hospital with over 34 years of service. Wayne was proud of the fact that he never missed a day of work. He was dearly loved by his canine companions Brody and Gia. Wayne was also a passionate White Sox fan.
A Celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
