Walter Kasch

Walter J. "Wally" Kasch, age 80, beloved husband for 51 years to Dorothy "Dotty", nee Charnick. Loving father of Jennifer (Michael) Bertolani, Kimberly (Gregg) Pounds, and the late baby Scott. Cherished grandfather of Rylan, Gavin, Greyson, and Easton. Devoted son of the late Walter W. and Mildred Kasch. Fond brother of Ronald Kasch and Robert (Joan) Kasch.

Wally served in the US Army as a member of the Illinois National Guard. "Wild Wally" Kasch was involved with and enjoyed auto racing, especially drag racing. He love the outdoors, animals and photography. After retiring, Wally and Dorothy moved to Prescott, AZ and built their dream home and lived there for 22 years. They recently moved back to the area to be with family.

Visitation Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Thursday, July 28, 2022, 10:00 a.m. from Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr.) Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL. Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
