Walter "Butch" Hardy Jr., age 66, US Navy Vietnam War Veteran, beloved husband of Pamela, nee Stetins. Loving father of Colleen (Abby) Hardy, JoAnne Hardy, Philip (Jessica) Hardy, and step-father of Jeffry (Mary) Loper and Tara Loper. Cherished grandfather of Vincent, Samantha, Jacob, Joseph, Kaylee, and Keara. Devoted son of Walter Sr. (Barbara) and the late Barbara (nee McGrath). Dearest brother of Debra (Arnold) Havens, Linda (William) Favia, and Cynthia Hardy. Dear son-in-law of Robert and the late Joan (nee Myers) Stetins and brother-in-law of James (Cynthia) Stetins and Gary (Beth) Stetins. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 3-8 PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Friday, May 12, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Interment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
