Vincent Sommer

Vincent H. Sommer, Sr., age 99, WWII US Navy Veteran, beloved husband for 72 years to the late Annette L. "Nancy" Sommer, nee Borgman (2022). Loving father of Nancy (Duane) Vander Tuuk and Vincent Jr. (Martha) Sommer. Cherished grandfather of Christopher (Ali) Vander Tuuk, Steven (Carol) Vander Tuuk, Timothy (Sara) Vander Tuuk, Joshua Vander Tuuk and Steven Sommer. Dearest great-grandfather of Ryan, Justin, Zachary, Alexis, Brock, Jacob, Casey, Kara and Austin. Preceded in death by his brother Weston, twin brother Vernon and his sister Margaret Krenn.


Visitation Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
