Gertrude "Trudi" Lautenbach, nee DeGroot, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 23, 2023. Beloved wife for 61 years to Kenneth Lautenbach. Loving mother of Kristine Lautenbach, Kenneth II (Andrea) Lautenbach, Laurence (Tammy) Lautenbach and David (Lisa) Lautenbach. Cherished grandmother of Kenneth III, Brenden, Alexandra (Adam) Smith; Meghan (Jacob) Virgo, Colin (fianceé Lauren Sanford); Jonathan (Emily Rose), Ainslee, Pieter, Hope and the late Jeremiah. Dearest great-grandmother of Grayson and Leighton Smith. Dear sister of Johanna (late Howard) Vroon, Rosemarie DeGroot and the late Lawrence DeGroot. Fond brother-in-law of the late Donald (Marion Golovach) Lautenbach. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, June 30, 2023 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
