Thomas Tuitman Jr., age 76, of Orland Park, died suddenly on December 14, 2016. Beloved husband and best friend for 52 years of Beverly (nee Bergsma). Much loved father of Scott, Alan (Cindy), and Wendy (Michael) Bolhuis. Loved and very missed by his grandchildren Shawn Rainbolt, Chris (Jill) Rainbolt; Alan and Alanna Tuitman; Taylor and Colin Bolhuis. Cherished great-grandfather to Ryker and Rayna Rainbolt. Dear brother of Ruth (the late Harold) Togtman and the late Richard (Joyce) Tuitman. Fond brother-in-law of Betty Jean (Robert) Aardema and Bonnie (Martin Jr.) Kuipers. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Tom was a U.S. Navy Veteran and the founder and owner of Tuitman Enterprises, a general contracting firm in business for thirty years. Tom was active to the end with his family, friends, church, and his construction projects, which seemed to never end, and in his opinion could always use improvement. God has reserved his place in heaven as "unfinished" so dad will never be bored.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Tom's life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Church, 16100 S. 104th Ave., Orland Park, IL 60467. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Elim Christian Services appreciated. Express your thoughts and condolences at colonialchapel.com 708-532-5400
