Thomas James Holz, 76, of Logan, UT, formerly of Tinley Park, IL, passed away March 3, 2016 from complications following a stroke. He was born on October 20,1939, son of the late Arthur and Genevieve (nee Pekin) Holz. His beloved wife, Sharon (nee Doogan) Holz preceded him in death. He is survived by five beautiful daughters: Maureen, Cheryl, Laura Roberts, Katie, and Theresa; four grandchildren: Joshua, Ryan, Danielle, and Samantha Roberts; and five siblings: Norbert, Arthur, Dick, Nora House, and Mary. Tom retired from Ford Motor Company, enjoyed spending time with his family, and assisting the Boy Scouts. Visitation and church service will be Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 13150 S. 88th Ave, Orland Park; visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a service from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Immediately following the service, he will be buried at Tinley Park Memorial Cemetery, 171st Street & 84th Ave, Tinley Park. Friends and family will gather to remember him later on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Avenue (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem), Orland Park.
