Terry Hodous

Terry Hodous, 77, late of Mt. Greenwood, after an illness. Veteran U.S. Army Vietnam War. Beloved son of his late parents, Robert and Mildred.  Cherished life partner of Diana Ellmo.  Cherished father of; Carolyn (Ted) Wargo. Loving stepfather of; Debbie (Austin) Cowan and Jason Lux. Dear brother of the late Bob Hodous.  Loving grandfather of; Danielle Mertens, Vincent Wargo, Stephanie Wargo and Milo Lux. Fond uncle of; Jimmy (Colleen) Kintz, Tommy (Kelly) Kintz, Beth (Mike) Kintz-Schwartz, Austin Nester, Grace Nester, and the many neighborhood children that visited regularly.

Terry loved traveling the world (especially the most beautiful beaches), helping Dee in the garden, grilling (even in the winter), attending his grandchildren's activities, researching his family lineage and visiting neighbors and friends. He especially loved old cars. He was very active in his neighborhood and community, belonging to the VFW Post 2791 (Tinley Park), the American Legion Post 991 (Worth), and BPOE/Elks Lodge 2254 (Oak Lawn), the 1st Cavalry Association as a Charter Member- Sheridan's Cavalry Chapter/Roselle, Il. and the Cantigny Honor Club #9143.  Interment at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with full military honors afforded.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manteno Veteran's Home appreciated.
