Tara Christine Assink, nee Stuursma, age 41, beloved wife for 17 years to Brian Assink. Loving mother of Austin, Hunter and Lexie. Precious daughter of John and Christine (nee Torrenga) Stuursma. Cherished sister of Jamie (Dan) Bulthuis and John Stuursma. Treasured daughter-in-law of Kimberly and the late Dean Assink. Much loved sister-in-law of Tara (Al) Ipema, Mark (Gina) Assink and Robert (Kristine) Assink. Wonderful, fun aunt of Emily, Danny, Camryn, Payton, Levi and Dakota. Adored niece, cousin and friend of many.
Tara Christine Assink, was a ray of sunshine that made anyone’s bad days just a bit better. With her smile that would light up the room paired with her contagious laugh that would fill every inch of a room, it was hard not to be happy around her. Being an amazing aunt only prepared Tara to be an exceptional mother. The love she had not only for Brian but for her three kiddos was unmatched. She was her kids' biggest fan and their loudest cheerleader. Tara had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone. Faith was a big part of Tara’s life, in the mornings with a big cup of coffee Tara would read her devotional along with sharing her love for the Lord with her family. Memories of Tara will be found in so many things, such as camping with friends and family, family gatherings, through each and every one of her three kids, and so much more. Tara will be held close to our hearts and will be forever loved and forever missed. Love you always Tara Christine.
