Susan Devries

Susan M. DeVries, nee Singer, age 55, beloved wife for 20 years to the late John R. DeVries (2016). Loving mother of Trystan, Ashley, and Gabriella. Cherished grandmother of Sawyer and River. Dear sister of Debra (Randy) Hildenbrand, the late Sandra Singer, Raymond (Donna) Singer (Schmidt), Barbara (Steve) Singer-Johnson, the late Kathleen Huggins, the late Georgie Huggins, and the late Miller brothers, Richard "Butchie", David "Boomer", Billy and Donald. Devoted daughter of the late Edna and Richard Miller. Fond daughter-in-law of Carol VanKuiken (nee Boss) and the late John A. DeVries. Dearest sister-in-law of Barbara (Mark) Vitkauskas and Pamela Kamphuis. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Susan had a big heart and was a kind soul. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. Susan had a wonderful sense of humor and made everyone laugh. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and listening to music.

Visitation Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL 60462.
