Stephen W. Taylor, age 74, beloved husband for 50 years to Ellie, nee Griffin. Loving father of Christopher Taylor, Katherine (David) Taylor Meister and Emily (Matthew) Brown. Cherished grandfather of Bennett, Ruby, Ellie and Lynn. Devoted son of the late Jerry and Lee Taylor and son-in-law of the late Dr. Charles and Teresa Griffin. Dear brother of Jeffrey (Nancy) Taylor. Fond uncle and brother-in-law of many.

Stephen was an attorney with over 50 years of service. He cherished time with his family and friends, found joy in the sunshine of Naples and Laguna Beach and loved peaceful walks with Ellie along Lake Michigan.

Visitation Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL. Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
