Stephen F. Connolly

Stephen F. Connolly, age 68, beloved husband for 35 years to Mary, nee Scheregen. Loving father of Stephen Connolly, Matthew Connolly, Catherine (Blake) Grannon and Dannette Vloedman. Cherished grandfather of Maggie Vloedman. Devoted son of the late Virginia (nee Young) and the late James Connolly. Preceded in death by his brother James (Marie) Connolly and his sister Judy (late James) O’Brien. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Stephen was a devoted sports fan who found great joy in horse racing, NASCAR, and cheering on the Chicago White Sox. He also loved spending time on the golf course and could often be found enjoying a round with friends. A true classic rock enthusiast, Stephen had a deep appreciation for the music that provided the soundtrack to so many good memories. He especially treasured the simple pleasure of gathering with friends at the Tinley Pub, sharing stories, laughter, and good times. Above all, Stephen will be remembered for his friendships, his spirit, and the many happy memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

Visitation Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
