Sophia Metevia

Sophia Metevia, nee Dwornik, 101 years old, beloved wife of the late John H. Metevia. Loving mother of the late William J. Wronski, Jr. and the late James M. Wronski. Dear sister of the late Raymond (late Eleanor) Dwornik, late Chester (late Ginger) Dwornik, late Frank (Dorothy) Dwornik, and late Cecilia (late William) Kubicki. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Retired from U.S. Steel after 40 years of dedicated service. Sophia was a long-time resident of Orland Park and faithful parishioner of St. Michael Church.

Visitation at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 8:00 - 10:15 a.m. Prayer service at 10:15 a.m. followed by procession to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
