Shirley M. Frieling, nee Reitsma, age 80, beloved wife for 48 years to the late Jay "Bud" Frieling (2007). Loving mother of Robert (Kim) Frieling, Laura (David) Ipema, Linda (the late David) Schaver, Thomas (Mary) Frieling and Sandra (Eric) Washington. Cherished grandmother of Lauren (David) Korb, James Frieling, Hope Frieling, Robert Frieling, Kayla (Jordan) Rotman, Mateo Salomon and Marcus (Kennady) Salomon; Melissa (Jenson) Varghese, Michelle (Erik) Ladomersky, Steven Ipema and Melanie Ipema; Kyle (Annelies) Schaver, Danny Schaver, Lindsey (Anthony) Spano and Kelsey (Joseph) Glotz; Kaitlyn Frieling, Zachary Frieling and Anna Frieling; Samantha Washington and Isabella Washington. Dearest great-grandmother of Cora Varghese, Ari Varghese, Jay Ladomersky and Ada Mae Schaver. Dear sister of Robert (Connie) Reitsma, Mara (Dan) Bonsanti and the late Lee (late Florence) Reitsma. Fond sister-in-law of Eldene (late Herman) Doff, Florence (late Harry) Van Dyken, Karen (late John) Wierenga and the late Martin (Janice) Frieling. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Shirley passed away peacefully and is now reunited in heaven with her late husband Bud and her Lord and Savior. We can picture her saying "I could get used to this!"

Family will receive relatives and friends at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Shirley's life will follow at 10:30 a.m.
