Sandra Lee "Sandi" Butler

Sandra Lee “Sandi” Butler, nee Schlosser, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife for 33 years to David R. Butler. Loving mother of Brandon and Justin. Devoted daughter of Lois (Bill) MacDonald and the late Richard Schlosser. Dearest sister of Lori (Nick) Kritselis, Julie (Rich Gerhard) Friedrich, the late Rick (Darlene) Schlosser, and the late Larry Schlosser. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Sandi participated in competitive horseback riding throughout her youth and young adulthood, while maintaining a lifelong love of gardening. After a short stint modeling, she put her degree to use in a career in media and advertising in downtown Chicago. After starting a family, Sandi chose to pursue her own business from home, where she soon found success. A passionate and dedicated entrepreneur, she built and managed a wide range of small businesses. As a loving mother to her two sons, she took great pride in driving them to acting auditions in downtown Chicago, cheering them on at sporting events, and sharing in the hobbies they loved. Sandi’s creativity and warmth were contagious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Parkview Christian Church Chapel, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL from 12:00Noon -2:00 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Sandi’s life will follow at 2:00 p.m. Park in the EAST lot to Enter. Go to the Chapel on the 2nd floor.
