Mr. Rowland "Pat" Jones

Mr. Patrick Jones 78, late of Oak Forest, formerly of Evanston.  Beloved son of his late parents, Rowland and Mary (nee McGary) Jones; cherished husband of Cheryl (nee Stube); devoted father of Stacey (Tom) Jennings, Todd (Angie), Derek (Nicole) and Shane (Lauren).  Loving brother of Linda (Frank) Freeman; dearest grandfather of Kyle, Trevor, Collin, Kadence, Logan, Ryan, Evan, Caleb, McKenna and Will.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Patrick was a proud member for 53 years of Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 281.  He also worked for GM Electromotive Division in McCook.  He was a 1961 graduate of Brother Rice High School, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard for 6 years.  Visitation Thursday, December 30th, from 3-8pm; Funeral Friday; 11:00 prayers at the funeral home departing to St. Damien Catholic Church, Oak Forest, Father Michael Olson, officiating a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tinley Park American Legion Post 0615.  Interment Holy Sepulchre.
