Rose C. Day, nee Herschbach, age 99, beloved wife for 65 years to the late Edward J. Day, Sr. (2019). Loving mother of Edward Jr. (Carol) Day, Debra Day, John (Kimberly) Day, Ronald Day, and Terrence (Mary) Day. Cherished grandmother of John, Meaghan; Scott, Patrick, Alexis; Chris, Mike, Julianne and Caitlin. Dearest great-grandmother of 12. Survived by her brother Bud Herschbach.
Rose was born in Chester, IL. She retired from Federal National Mortgage Association after 15 years of service. Rose was an active parishioner for over 20 years at St. Julie Billiart Church.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. until time of Prayer Service 9:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Julie Billiart Church, 7399 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
