Rosalinda Lazo

Rosalinda de las Alas Lazo “Linda”, age 81, beloved wife for 59 years to Rudy J. Lazo. Loving mother of Jennifer (Robert Griffin) Lazo, Norman (Lori) Lazo and Jeanette Lazo. Cherished and beloved “Nana” of Arianna Griffin, Robert Griffin III, Darius Boykin and Blake Boykin. Dearest Great-Nana of Sebastian. Nana will also be very missed by her faithful canine companions Booda and Yoshi.

Linda was a dedicated unit secretary at South Chicago Community Hospital/Advocate Trinity Hospital for over 26 years. Nana was a true nurturer at heart whether it was caring for her children, grandkids, great grandson or her beautiful array of flowers in her garden. Nana was the pure heart and soul of the family, bringing everyone together through love, humor and her wonderful homemade Filipino recipes. Nana’s kind-heart and caring nature attracted a close-knit of lifelong friendships who shared the love of dancing, shopping, traveling and living life to the fullest. Nana’s abundance of knowledge and advice will be cherished by those that were blessed enough to receive her great wisdom throughout her lifetime. Nana will forever be remembered by her ever-lasting impact and positive influence on every soul that crossed her path in life.

Visitation Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
