Robert Abel Schoonveld, age 75, beloved husband for 50 years to Lois, nee Smit. Loving father of Steve (Karen) Schoonveld, Karen Schoonveld, Christine (Rob) Mazur, Sally (Keith) Hoelterhoff and Sandy (Michael) Shannon. Cherished grandfather of 11. Dearest brother of Shirley (late Ben) Scholtens, Elsie (Harold) Van Drie and Joyce (Bob) Garbacz. Dear brother-in-law, uncle and cousin of many.
Visitation Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Christ Community Church, 13400 S. Bell Rd., Lemont, IL 60439 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., a Memorial Service celebrating Robert's life will begin at 4:00 p. m., with fellowship to follow.
