Robert “Bob” Ooms was born March 25, 1948 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to John and Dena Ooms. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Kooi). Loving father of Dawn (Jose) Sanchez and Robert Ooms. Proud grandpa of Eric Sanchez and Lauren (Brett) Malik. Dear brother of Lois Ooms, William (Pamela) Ooms and Nancy (John) McDonough.

Bob attended Prairie State College, Trinity Christian College, Governors State University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He was the owner of Southwest Suburban Dental Laboratory when God called him into the ministry, where is served at the Village Evangelical Free Church, New Song Evangelical Free Church, and Leadership Resources International.

Bob was exemplary in his love for his family. His heart for God dominated his life choices. He touched many lives for Jesus.

Funeral Service and Burial will be private at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
