Robert L. "Larry" Lyerla, age 80, US Navy Veteran, beloved wife of the late Geraldine M. Lyerla, nee Blum. Loving father of Kelly (Scott) Chlebek, Joseph (Gina) Lyerla, the late Robert B. (Tammy) Lyerla, and the late Heather Lyerla. Proud Grandfather of Grace, Zoe, Samantha, Bryce, Jordyn, Connor, Colin, and Autumn. Dear brother of Karen (Ken) Strenge. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends are invited to meet directly at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421 on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 2:15 p.m. for a Committal Service with Military Honors at 2:30 p.m.. Keep to the right and you will see a sign for funeral processions.
