Robert E. Luchene Sr., age 70, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, formerly of Tinley Park, IL, beloved husband of Jill R., nee Hardy. Loving father of Barry (Brenda) and Robert Jr. (Nora). Dear grandfather of Laura (Steve) Wegner, Brian, Brianne (Jericho) Haust, Brandon (Ashley), Bradley, Brittany, Brent, and Brook Luchene. Dearest great grandfather of Kylee Wegner. Fond brother of Paul (Beverly), Pat (Johnny) Johnson, Betty Topp, and Donna (Ken) Tryka. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was active in church, serving many years as a deacon and sound technician. Employee of Geo. J. Roll and Sons, Blue Island, IL for 54 years. He served as president of the South Suburban Residential Contractors’ Association and as a treasurer for 17 years for the South Suburban Home Builders’ Association.
