Robert Arthur Gabriel, age 72, passed away Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at his home in Frankfort after a long battle with dementia.
Rob worked as a Computer Analyst for the Illinois Racing Board and as a member of the Plan Commission for the Village of Frankfort. He was passionate for the outdoors and conservation causes through wildlife photography, the Sierra Club, Garden Club, a Master Naturalist, baseball coach, Cub Scout leader and licensed SCUBA diver. Rob was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, father, husband and friend, whose unique approach to life will be dearly remembered.
