Robert Elsinga

Robert A. "Bob" "Slim" Elsinga Sr., age 78, beloved husband for 41 years to Debra, nee Henfler and the late Dianne, nee Laverman (1979). Loving father of Robert Jr. (Tina) Elsinga, Michael (Angela) Parent and the late Brian Elsinga. Cherished grandfather of Robert Elsinga III, Caleb (Amy), Andrew and Sean Macon; Kadin, Natalie, Mikey Jr. and Trevor Parent. Adored great-grandfather of Claire, Luke and Jake. Devoted son of the late Albert and Winifred Elsinga. Dearest brother of Shirley Elzinga and the late Phyllis Jean Elsinga. Fond brother-in-law of many. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his faithful canine companion Maggie.

Bob was a proud lifetime member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150.

Visitation Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
