Robert K. Allen

Robert K. Allen, 61, late of Frakfort, after an illness.  Beloved son of the late Robert C. and Donna (nee Garrett).  Cherished husband of Camille (nee Soiret). Loving father of; Alex (Stacy), Nikki (David) Konsoer, Becky and Hannah. Beloved brother of; the late Derrick (Kimberly) and Laura (Adam) Trent. Fond uncle of ; Sean, the late Brooke (David) Alfaro, Avery (Adam) Pieczynski, Brigette, Christopher and Ethan.  Robert was a dedicated employee of American Lock Co., and valued hard work.  He had interests that included selling various items on Ebay, and attending flea markets where he could peruse the wares for sale.  He collected thousands of record albums and had amassed an assortment that would impress the most avid enthusiasts. He was very witty, always enjoyed telling and listening to a joke, and was goal-oriented.  He loved camping, and was especially fond of a "real tent" camping trip to Arkansas, where he fished and enjoyed being with family. He also loved his "Zoom Games" where he became engrossed in playing games and making new friends via that avenue. He was a super big fan of the tv show "Survivor" and always looked forward to it airing.  When it came to Fantasy Football, Robert was an ardent participant, and was in 5 leagues per year and for hours on end would studiously examine the lineups before the drafts.  Visitation Friday, June 28th, 3-8pm  (Prayer Service 7:00pm, Pastor Chad Negley, officiant) at the Maher Funeral Home, 17101 S. 71st Ave., Tinley Park.  Interment private.
